Back in the DAY....

Racing in the K4, I think this is in Kamloops. Alana is in front, then Lisa and Patricia and then Robyn.

Robyn biking in Maple Ridge.

Robyn, Alana and some poor squashed blue person in the middle at Rovent

This is how we flatten the snow where we are planning on putting our tent, dont think we will have that problem in Utah

Robyn helping me...yet again!

Our ribbons with Lisa and Patricia

Alana on her bike in Maple Ridge

So I am getting my stuff unpacked and I found some photos of Robyn and I doing cool stuff. The quality is not too great since they are photos of the photos and I did it quickly, but oh well.

BTW Robyn, the nomad scarf is looking great...and they do eat spagetti in Morocco, but I would not suggest to try it, they totally over cook the pasta!

Nomad Scarves

So, I've been experimenting and I think I've figured out how the nomad scarves are supposed to work. Does this look right? It stays on pretty well, and I can see how the hangy bit at the back would be useful for shielding one's eyes from sand. Or for wiping spaghetti sauce off of one's face.

Solar Panels

This is the sheet of solar panels that we are thinking of getting for the bike trip. It would just sit on top of one of the trailers, tied at each corner, and we could use it to recharge the batteries for our mp3 players, video camera, and digital cameras. It folds up to the size of a pocketbook.

The first post!!!

Well preparations are well underway for our trip. We hooked up the trailers and rode from Robyn's place in Burnaby to Alana's place in Vancouver, about 22kms. One of the trailer safety clips snapped going down 16th, but otherwie all seemed pretty smooth. We are working on the supplies list right now and trying to gather all the gear that we need to make our trip a bit easier. Lots of stpos will be made at MEC and the dollar store.
